PDS 400
The PDS 400® variable wavelength light source delivers visible light to the skin through fiber-optic cables. It can produce any wavelength (color) between 400 and 700 nm. Investigators can set the device to either sweep between wavelengths or output a narrow band of wavelengths. Our proprietary software gives investigators control of all treatment parameters, including wavelength, pulse frequency, and brightness. Unlike laser- and LED-based devices, which can produce only light of a single wavelength or narrow band within the electromagnetic spectrum, the PDS 400® allows investigators to determine the most effective wavelengths for each subject and condition.
