Company Background
PhotoMed Technologies was founded by Allan Gardiner, a mechanical engineer by training. For 25 years, he delivered turnkey industrial solutions to a variety of industries. In 1999, he was struck by the medical industry’s lack of coordination and the general unpreparedness of medical device manufacturers for the interconnected office of the future. He is now working to create the solutions needed to bring health care into a new age.
PhotoMed’s goal is to relieve suffering by bringing novel products and systems to market in the United States and abroad. Our first suite of products integrates visible light therapy with real-time physiological monitoring and electronic medical records (EMR). We are targeting some of the most problematic areas of chronic pain, circulatory deficiencies, and neuromuscular pathologies. With our research tools, investigators can collect all the data they need without an engineering staff to manage equipment.
